This is Yamaha's iconic Al Foster signature Hipgig Sr. nesting drum set, dating to 2003. You'll be floored at how much sonic depth and punch comes from this kit, while fully traveling in one nesting unit. All three drums stack and fit inside the kick drum. This kit is in excellent working order, with signs of use being pretty light overall.
"The larger diameter of the Hipgig makes it even more playable.
The bass drum has been increased in size from 16 inches to 18 inches, the toms are 14 inches and 12 inches, and the snare is 13 inches, making it a size larger than the conventional Hipgig. Two cymbal stands, CS651, are used for the cymbal setup. Larger cymbals can also be used, expanding the range of setups.
The shell material is the same as before, a 7-ply birch and Philippine mahogany shell molded using the airbag method.
New floating bass drum system
The striking surface of the bass drum is elevated by a pipe post stabilizer, and the height can be adjusted so that the foot pedal beater strikes the center of the head. Two auxiliary legs are also provided for more stable playing.
Yamaha Remo Head
Although it is small in diameter, it uses a head that is ideal for pursuing a deep tone, allowing you to enjoy a full-fledged sound that you would not expect from a compact drum.
Compact packing
The bass drum has a two-part structure, and can store two toms and a snare drum, all of which can be carried in a dedicated BD soft case. The drum hardware, including the drum stool, can also be stored in a dedicated bag."

B-Stock

Mint (Used)
Mint condition items are completely blemish-free and have not been modified in any way. If there are any blemishes and/or modifications, the item needs to be listed as a condition less than mint.
Excellent (Used)
Excellent items are almost entirely free from blemishes and other visual defects and have been played or used with the utmost care. When an item has been used, but only has minor cosmetic defects, this can be considered Excellent. Minor surface level scratches, such as fingerprints or stick marks from regular use, would qualify.
Very Good (Used)
Very Good describes items with more cosmetic imperfections than Excellent, but are still in great condition overall. There may be some scratches, finish dings, slight keyholing or light pitting, but nothing that affects the playability or function of the gear.
Good (Used)
Good condition includes items that are in fine working order, but have significant cosmetic imperfections. A cymbal with substantial fleabites, or an old snare drum with some surface rust on the lugs would be classified as Good. Items with dents, or corrosion qualify as Good as long as they are still playable and fully functional.
Fair (Used)
Fair condition items have various imperfections that impact the function of the item. Fair items aren’t broken, but have some minor functional issues. Examples of items in Fair condition are cymbals with repaired cracks, or a playable drum kit with several extra holes.
Poor (Used)
Poor condition items have clear functional problems that will generally require repair. Examples of items in Poor condition include a snare drum with broken lugs, a cymbal with substantial un-repaired cracks, or a drum kit stripped of its finish and missing hoops or other hardware.
