Collector grade! A 2008 Gretsch USA Custom 125th Anniversary drum ket in Cadillac Green lacquer with gold-plated hardware. All original with original 125th Anniversary batter heads included as well. In near mint with some light haze on the plating from handling only, most noticeably on the snare (some very light scuffing on the throw-off). Never gigged, and was stored (never played) in a climate controlled home. Contemporary hardware configuration. A beautiful tribute to an iconic historical kit from Gretsch.
8x12" tom, 14x14" floor tom, 14x20" kick drum, and 4.5x14" snare.
"Gretsch's Progressive Jazz kit is modeled after the classic Gretsch "Birdland" kit from the 1950s. The Birdland kit was used by some of Gretsch's past master drummers - most notably Max Roach - and kept as the house kit at the renowned New York City jazz establishment. The Progressive Jazz kit features classic 6-ply USA Custom shells, the same shells Gretsch has been using since the late 1950s, and features gold-plated drum hardware. Also included: Traditional jazz sizes, mounted 12" tom, Gretsch Round Badge, Cadillac Green finish and bass drum finished with gold sparkle inlay and vintage T-rods. Each shell contains a vintage orange/white internal shell label that is uniquely serialized. The bass drum includes a gold 125th logo affixed over the paint - but underneath the lacquer - on the bass drum shell. Other 125th Anniversary appointments include Fiberskyn resonant bass drum head with offset Gretsch Drums logo and coated resonant heads with 125th logos printed on each. The Progressive Jazz kit is limited to 125 total kits for 2008 production. With classic jazz sizes, vintage appearance and traditional tones, this kit is a time-honored Gretsch classic.

Condition
Brand New
Brand New items are sold by an authorized dealer or original builder and include all original packaging. Products listed by authorized dealers that are unopened, new in box and are covered under the manufacturer’s original limited warranty.
B-Stock
Items that were opened and returned, have a cosmetic imperfection or were used as demo units in a shop. Many B-Stock items come with a limited manufacturer’s warranty.
Mint (Used)
Mint condition items are completely blemish-free and have not been modified in any way. If there are any blemishes and/or modifications, the item needs to be listed as a condition less than mint.
Excellent (Used)
Excellent items are almost entirely free from blemishes and other visual defects and have been played or used with the utmost care. When an item has been used, but only has minor cosmetic defects, this can be considered Excellent. Minor surface level scratches, such as fingerprints or stick marks from regular use, would qualify.
Very Good (Used)
Very Good describes items with more cosmetic imperfections than Excellent, but are still in great condition overall. There may be some scratches, finish dings, slight keyholing or light pitting, but nothing that affects the playability or function of the gear.
Good (Used)
Good condition includes items that are in fine working order, but have significant cosmetic imperfections. A cymbal with substantial fleabites, or an old snare drum with some surface rust on the lugs would be classified as Good. Items with dents, or corrosion qualify as Good as long as they are still playable and fully functional.
Fair (Used)
Fair condition items have various imperfections that impact the function of the item. Fair items aren’t broken, but have some minor functional issues. Examples of items in Fair condition are cymbals with repaired cracks, or a playable drum kit with several extra holes.
Poor (Used)
Poor condition items have clear functional problems that will generally require repair. Examples of items in Poor condition include a snare drum with broken lugs, a cymbal with substantial un-repaired cracks, or a drum kit stripped of its finish and missing hoops or other hardware.
