Funch 21" Ride Cymbal - 2310g
Funch Cymbals are made by hand in small batches in Denmark by Lasse Funch Sørensen. They are high-quality instruments, made with the utmost care and respect for the tradition of hand-crafted cymbals and for the musicians who will play them.
This Funch 21" Ride Cymbal weighing 2310g is gently used and in great condition.
“Lasse was educated as a jazz drummer at the Danish National Academy of Music. Sparked by his interest in cymbals, he became a cymbal smith and founded Funch Cymbals in 2017. To this day, Lasse is the only employee. That means, that every step in the process from the raw blank to a package at your door, is handled by him alone.
Lasse has studied the Turkish cymbal making tradition in Istanbul. That is the foundation of his cymbal production today. His approach to cymbal making is a fusion of his background as a jazz drummer and the Turkish techniques. His goal is to create cymbals that are highly useable in acoustic jazz settings. As a musician and a craftsman, he is inspired by the jazz history from the early '60s. The jazz history is an important inspiration for his cymbal making.
“As a drummer I am familiar with the quest for a sound that’s just right for me. Years of playing has tuned my ear to know exactly what to listen out for. I pour this knowledge and intuition into each and every cymbal I make. The result is a highly musical instrument of supreme quality.”

Brand New items are sold by an authorized dealer or original builder and include all original packaging. Products listed by authorized dealers that are unopened, new in box and are covered under the manufacturer’s original limited warranty.

Items that were opened and returned, have a cosmetic imperfection or were used as demo units in a shop. Many B-Stock items come with a limited manufacturer’s warranty.
Mint (Used)
Mint condition items are completely blemish-free and have not been modified in any way. If there are any blemishes and/or modifications, the item needs to be listed as a condition less than mint.
Excellent (Used)
Excellent items are almost entirely free from blemishes and other visual defects and have been played or used with the utmost care. When an item has been used, but only has minor cosmetic defects, this can be considered Excellent. Minor surface level scratches, such as fingerprints or stick marks from regular use, would qualify.
Very Good (Used)
Very Good describes items with more cosmetic imperfections than Excellent, but are still in great condition overall. There may be some scratches, finish dings, slight keyholing or light pitting, but nothing that affects the playability or function of the gear.
Good (Used)
Good condition includes items that are in fine working order, but have significant cosmetic imperfections. A cymbal with substantial fleabites, or an old snare drum with some surface rust on the lugs would be classified as Good. Items with dents, or corrosion qualify as Good as long as they are still playable and fully functional.
