A very beautiful Canopus Neo-Vintage kit in red sparkle wrap dating to 2008. 14x18" kick, 8x12" rack tom, 14x14" floor tom, with a 5.5x14" snare. The NV60 series is a great homage to the bebop drums of the 1960s, taking direct design inspiration from the American drum kits of that era, while integrating modern hardware elements for stability and durability, including bass plate and tom arm/suspension mount. Overall in great condition, with light wear on the wrap and bass drum hoops.

"Our shell design for the M1 is a result of analyzing the drum sound that dominated the jazz world in the 1960s. Our shell construction consists of maple and poplar in 7 ply (for TT/FT) and 10 ply (for BD). Our snare drums utilize the same 7 ply maple and poplar combination, but with a customized layout for the NV60-M1 snare drum. In addition to using vintage bearing edges as a guide for our own unique design, we have adopted die-cast hoops as standard equipment on our floor toms and tom toms. The core of the drum sound comes to life in high pitched tuning, and totally eliminates the differences and instabilities that have traditionally hampered the sound of vintage instruments."

Brand New

B-Stock
Items that were opened and returned, have a cosmetic imperfection or were used as demo units in a shop. Many B-Stock items come with a limited manufacturer’s warranty.
Mint (Used)
Mint condition items are completely blemish-free and have not been modified in any way. If there are any blemishes and/or modifications, the item needs to be listed as a condition less than mint.
Excellent (Used)
Excellent items are almost entirely free from blemishes and other visual defects and have been played or used with the utmost care. When an item has been used, but only has minor cosmetic defects, this can be considered Excellent. Minor surface level scratches, such as fingerprints or stick marks from regular use, would qualify.
Very Good (Used)
Very Good describes items with more cosmetic imperfections than Excellent, but are still in great condition overall. There may be some scratches, finish dings, slight keyholing or light pitting, but nothing that affects the playability or function of the gear.
Good (Used)
Good condition includes items that are in fine working order, but have significant cosmetic imperfections. A cymbal with substantial fleabites, or an old snare drum with some surface rust on the lugs would be classified as Good. Items with dents, or corrosion qualify as Good as long as they are still playable and fully functional.
Fair (Used)
Fair condition items have various imperfections that impact the function of the item. Fair items aren’t broken, but have some minor functional issues. Examples of items in Fair condition are cymbals with repaired cracks, or a playable drum kit with several extra holes.
Poor (Used)
Poor condition items have clear functional problems that will generally require repair. Examples of items in Poor condition include a snare drum with broken lugs, a cymbal with substantial un-repaired cracks, or a drum kit stripped of its finish and missing hoops or other hardware.
